Statement:
Inspired by E. O. Wilson’s notion of “biophilia ” as an empathy towards all living things, my work is driven by a sense of intimacy and personal identification with the natural world. In my paintings, my experience of nature tends to express a sense of wonder and awe at the complexity of the web of life.
